I was getting ready and David was in the shower Liz came and said,”come on! There are two sloths a couple blocks away” We headed out and weren’t disappointed. They were a couple blocks away right off the sidewalk. it was so cool!
The. We headed out to Bluff Beach area to find some monkeys. We have heard but haven’t seen them yet. We took the golf cart and walked, longer than I wanted to. It was hot and I had a travel day, didn’t want to get all sweaty! She showed us the jungle she used to live in and kept saying let’s go a little further. It was a beautiful area but dang it was hot! no, we never found the monkeys, next time!
We had a snack at her friend Norrs food truck. Then headed back to pack up.
She got us to the airport in the cart and we had a teary goodbye. I’m so glad I finally made it here. She has made a lovely life for herself and is surrounded by good friends and lots of love. I am so proud of her for following her heart and taking such a big leap of faith in making this adventure work for her.
