Everything was smooth and we had a great Experience. Our guide Erik continued to educate us on Machu Picchu. We went early and it was great because it wasn’t packed or hot. It was everything and more than I had imagined. Truly a magical, special place. It is one of the natural 7 wonders and I highly recommend visiting it.

We left and went back to town. We said goodbye to our Texas friends and made lunch plans with the others. We had coffee and walked around town. We had a nice lunch and I tried Alpaca! One and done! The train ride to Ollyempo was definitely a highlight of the trip. There was a mariachi band and we drank and danced in the bar/observation car.
It was a long/bumpy road back to Cusco. We got back about 8:00. We worked on packing our bags for another 5:00 wake up and 6:00 ride to airport
